Can test positive for weed on second hand smoke?

Yes. I failed twice at probation from being around people who were smoking. I didn't think it was possible unless in a smogged out car or something, but obviously not. I mean think about it. They say don't expose children to secondhand cigarrette smoke because all of those chemicals are still in the smoke. It would be ignorant to think that some THC could still be in the smoke as it is exhaled and then reinhaled by someone else.

Ther person above is lying. I am a substance abuse counselor and you would have to be in a volkswagon bug with like 30 people all smoking, to test positive. My clients try that too and when it is evident that I don't believe them, they finally admit to smoking. I assume your P.O. didn't fall for it either.

Second-hand marijuana smoke - buzz producing, or not - can leave traces of the chemical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in your urine for a day or so after breathing the smoke. Calling someone a liar is pretty harsh. I can tell you that i do not smoke it but my husband is a heavy smoker and does it around me all the time. I was told I could not get it in my system. Well I just had a drug test at my Drs office and I tested POSitive for THC!!

I am tested as part of my medical treatment plan for chronic pain management once a year, so I know when I will be tested! this is not the first time I tested Poss. after being around my husband smoking it. He smokes almost non stop and the only way for me to stay away from it is to sit in my room alone while he is home. How fair is that?

Everyone has a small level of THC in their system. However, it is not enough to show up in a drug test. If you claim the weed is from second hand smoke, no one will believe that and you will be considered dirty. Try not to be around a lot of it before your test or at least go outside with (or when) others who are smoking.

No, min cut off concentration for detection avoid this type of fail positive. Run a home drug test if this will make you feel better. Test kit you will find at any pharmacy.

probably seeing as their is second hand smoke from a cigerette. if you are around people who smoke it chances are it wil get into your lungs
