Most likely, constipation occurs not only from the hormonal regulation occurring in your body, but the fact that you are probably dealing with food cravings that may not be helping. Make sure you are eating your fruits, getting enough fiber, and staying away from junk foods. Try to limit your white flour (breads/pasta) intake, as well as your cheese for a while.
