they can't tell. the only way you can measure the levels of methadone currently flowing through your system would be a blood test. they just make sure that you're taking your methadone - not how much.
Good luck w that! The only way I kno is to find clean urine then adding the methadone to it. Therefore when tested it is only positive for methadone. This works, I have done it to pass a many.
I'm not really sure what you mean here, but if you are asking if methadone will show up as methamphetamine then the answer is NO. Why would an opiate show up as amphetamine(speed)? Methadone is an opiate and will show up as an opiate on a UA. Some UA screenings dont even detect methadone or test for it, it all depends on the test itself.
Please don't take it before you know what your doing. Methadone SHOULD NOT be taken recreationally. It is dangerous and addicting. I'm addicted myself and have done reports, taken classes, have other junky friends. I've seen it all with Methadone. Any other drug ask someone else, but I know my methadone. I go to a Methadone clinic.
Methadone, does not show up on normal drug tests, that test for opiates. I was drug tested by the state for legal reasons, and methadone did not show up. Most employers drug tests would not detect methadone. Methadone is a synthetic opiate, and unless a specific test is done for blood serum levels of methadone, it will not show up. I have also given urine samples for jobs, and methadone does not show up, EVER!!!
A home or urine test at a clinic takes 5 minutes or less. A blood test takes a few hours to come back. you can do a home test or clinic urine test once your period is late for the best accuracy a blood test can be done a few days before that with accuracy. ~pawsalmighty
Methadone does not show up in a basic opiate test that is part of the standard pre-employment drug test and which can detect heroin, codeine and morphine (and perhaps oxycodone, hydrocodone, and dilaudid). A Methadone specific test must be performed to detect Methadone. This test is not uncommon and is part of the second tier "extended" test done by many companies.
Approx. detection period for urine test is 1-7 days but detection depending on stuff like person body mass, metabolism, how much and often is use, etc.. Also Methadone detection is part of the second type "extended" test done by many companies ( like some 8,10 panel test or 12 panel drug test) or specific test must be performed to detect Methadone.
I'm on methadone and I would like to know when my probation officer takes a urine on me will he test for specific opiates. They probabley won't test for a specific Opiate as it is very expensive. Usually it is done in a lab using a Gas Chromatagraph.
Most urine dip sticks are set up to identify presence of opiates. Check for 3-5 substances . These are or can be done at the collection facility. Specimens sent to labs most definitely check for their presence.
You could have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) You need to go to the doctors/clinic and have a urine analysis done and they will be able to treat it appropriately.
It can be done in a doctor's office, clinic, or hospital
