No, but it will sure feel like it. I quit methadone cold-turkey and I was sick for a month, completely delirious for about three days. If at all possible, detox from something shorter-acting like hydrocodone or heroin. Then you're only looking at four or five days, with two really bad ones.
Quinine has no effect on Methadone detoxification.
No, although you will sweat more.
If you are detoxing it is easier to adjust the dosage with liquid.
horrible worst detox in world i detoxed off everthing nothing is like methadone and it last 4 to 6 weeks uually it only takes day with opiates wish you luck whomever you are
you can die
you will die
if you take to much yes. Kicking methadone will make you wish you were dead. It is harder to kick than herion.
It is not a good idea to mix drugs unless your doctor or pharmacist says they are OK together. It does not matter what two or more drugs we are talking about. Even over-the-counter medications and supplements have interactions, so you should always check with a trained professional. That said, WikiAnswers does not give information about illegal acts, such as using methamphetamine.
if your detox process does not include any medications such as methadone or suboxone or another opiate you should be safe, although I don't necessarily see the point in detoxing from one opiate, only to start using another.
I would recomend seeing a doctor before attempting this. They can give you subutex or suboxone to help the withdrawals, be warned they are TERRIBLE!!
Uhm, Im not sure I really understand your question and its context, but with what I have here my answer is of course NO. Methadone is a long-acting opiate used for pain management and for detoxing from other opiates. So of course it will not clean out your system because it is putting an opiate into your system. It also makes you very constitpated (as do many other opiates) so my guess is that it actually does the opposite of clean your system out.
This can be a dangerous combination of medications to take. Please consult with your physician before taking either of these medications. I have been on methadone for 10 years and on Seroquel for 6 and I am just fine. I did find out however that if I don't take my methadone or some sort of opiate, and I still take my Seroquel I get horrible Restless Leg Syndrome. I was off methadone for a few months and it was hell. I got back on my methadone and was find. Now I am detoxing from methadone and as the dose lowers I am getting Restless Leg Syndrome again which upsets me because I want off of the methadone but need Seroquel for sleep. I am in a quandry.
