Generally, No. The placebo pills are only there to allow your body to control and adjust it's own hormones for the menstrual cycle. The other pills are what prevents pregnancy.

However there is still a small chance of pregnancy with any Birth Control pill.

Skipping the placebos to skip your period:

  • Does not cause harm
  • Lowers, rather than increases, the chances of getting pregnant
  • Doesn't interrupt your protection

Yes it is, but there is a very small chance that you will become pregnant and using a condom or having your partner pull out to cum will greatly decrease your chances of becoming pregnant.
