If you have your ovaries and uterus removed to prevent pregnancy then you will need hormone replacement therapy, as essentially your body will assume you have gone through the menopause and wont produce the female hormones you need to have as a woman.

This will not only prevent pregnancy, but you will NEVER be able to get pregnant if these are removed. This is called a hysterectomy and is only performed if there is cancer, fiberous tissue, or some other problem. A good doctor will not perform this on a young woman to prevent pregnancy. This is like killing a fly with a atomic bomb.

Does cervical cancer surgery affect tubal ligation's?

No. A tubal ligation severes the connection between the ovaries and the uterus. The ovaries float above the outside of the uterus and the fallopian tubes are the only opening into the top of the uterus. The cevix is the mouth of the uterus and is at the bottom of the uterus. The cervix is in the vagina and is not open to the area where the ovaries are.

Can you still get pregnant if you have had a tubal ligation and your spouse how a very low sperm count?

Although tubal ligation is considered a permanent sterilization process, there is always a very small chance of pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy can also occur after this procedure. The only way to be 100% would be a hysterectomy or oophorectomy (removal of the uterus or ovaries). This is why women of child bearing years are still required to have pregnancy tests done in hospitals before certain procedures.

Does a tubal ligation cause a women to enter menopause prematurely?

No, a tubal ligation does not cause a woman to enter menopause prematurely. What are the 3 methods of tubal ligation?

The three methods of tubal ligation include laparoscopic tubal ligation, where small incisions are made in the abdomen to access and block the fallopian tubes; hysteroscopic tubal ligation, which involves inserting a camera and instruments through the cervix and uterus to place devices that block the tubes; and mini-laparotomy, a less common approach that requires a larger incision in the abdomen to directly access and ligate the tubes. Each method aims to prevent pregnancy by disrupting the passage of eggs from the ovaries to the uterus.

How does a woman menstruate after tubal ligation?

A woman menstruates after a tubal ligation just like she would before she had this done. After the tubal ligation the ovaries still work the same as always and the uterus still responds the same way to the hormones to plump up and then shed when pregnancy doesn't occur. All tubal ligation does is cut or seal off the fallopian tubes so that the sperm cannot get to the egg to conceive.
