Can you give Klonopin to a dog?

Although not approved by the FDA for use in animals, Klonopin is considered safe for canines, and is given as a prescription from veterinarians. It is used for treatment of anxiety and sometimes for seizures.

The dose range for clonazepam (klonopin) is 0.05 to 0.25 mg per pound (0.1 to 0.5 mg/kg) orally every 8 hours, but the amount that should be given to a specific animal can only be determined by a vet.

Yes cats can take klonopin. They can take any benzodiazepine. It won't kill it or anything, just make it a little chilled out and maybe it'll wobble when walking. The same effects it has on humans :) Dosages vary but as a matter of fact I just gave my kitty 2.5mg of Valium and she's ok she's jus chillin out and has an increased appetite. The level at which it becomes toxic to the point of death is nearly impossible because you'd have to feed it your whole bottle, maybe more. So...yes, you CAN give your cat any benzo just make sure you give him/her a small dosage. S/he will be fine!
