I did today, I took a 20 mg Adderall XR at around 10:30 and then a 200mg naproxen/20mg sodium (generic "aleve") at around 1:00 pm, so I spaced them out a little bit. Nothing wrong so far and it's 7:00 pm, my buzz in dying wayy down and my shoulder pain has ceased due to the naproxen. answer#2.... from CarissaJB....I just had this experience and I would say be carefull or avoid Naproxen while on Adderall therapy. After less than a week of Naproxen Rx'd by my dentist at a pretty high dose...I felt awful, just as if I hadn't been taking my Adderall XR at all. Depressed-jittery- moody...unable to focus..Like the rug was pulled out from under me.............And my ears were ringing like I took too much aspirin...The Naproxen was a Rx dose of 500 mg every 6 hours from a dentist (for inflamation in the area of a pulled tooth). Last night I took 1/4 of the dose of the Naproxen and today I feel normal again. I will try to take the quartered dose of Naproxen but if it affects my Adderall therapy, I will give it up...

Short answer: Yes.

Naproxen is an NSAID ("non-steroidal anti-inflamatory drug"). Since NSAIDs have a different method of action from acetaminophen (Tylenol), it is usually safe to mix them. However, beware to not mix multiple NSAIDs, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen.
