well one you can't crush and snort concerta it deactivates when it is released to the air and pretty much turns to goop. I'm prescribed concerta and I was given it for that specific reason because I was an abuser of roxys(oxycodone hydrochloride). I've only had a couple of roxys now that I've been on concerta and im am too looking to see if it is safe to be using both.

First, I'm assuming you are referring to Oxycodone (Oxycodine is a common misspelling of Oxycodone). To answer your question they are the same drug... Oxycontin contains Oxycodone, the only difference being that Oxycontin is designed as a time-released version of Oxycodone over 8-12 hours. Oxycontin pills go as high as 160mg per dose. That is why people overdose so easily on Oxycontin when they are chewed up and swallowed or crushed to snort/inject. The high dose hits them all at once rather than being released over several hours. This can be very lethal unless the individual has already been taking the drug for a while and their body has built a sufficient tolerance to it.

I don't know about the smoking, but I would not recommend snorting it. Concerta is specifically made to prevent abuse, and they made it so that if you try to snort it, it will turn to a glue in your nose. Nasty situation, and not worth it. Ritalin and Focalin are fine for snorting, though.
