Yes you can take the 2 together, however make sure you can dedicate at 7hrs of sleep when taking these if they are being used as a sleep aid. If these two medications are being used as treatment for any type of mental illness (ie) Bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD and so on..then it would be wise to not operate any heavy machinery or make any important decisions. The doxepin alone is a type of sedative and adding a benzodiazepine will most likely either make you extremely tired and may affect your motor skills. As with any medication be sure to always talk to a pharmacist if you are still unsure.
