yes. The effects may not appear at first, but as the bupenorphine leaves your system all of the sudden you will be nodding (especialy if you take the bupe and wait for at least 4 hours to reach peak concentratios (the longer the better. Swim took an 8mg suboxone at 2pm and insuffated about 20mgs, added 2mgs if xanax xr ar 8pm (along with 60mgs of morphine sulfate to bolster the high,,,, plus it was free. but anuwaus, the abswer is YES. I assume this is due to the extremely long duration of both dtugs

My sub doc prescribes me 8mgs of sub and 3-4 mgs Xanax a day and I'm doin well.

You can take it together, but why assume more problems than you already have? It makes no sense, if you are taking Soboxone, like I am, then you have an underlying problem to start with. I do not think it is absolutely safe to do so, but the main problem is you are just adding more medications to multiply the problem.

this is very very dangerous to do since both of these drugs are CNS depressants , mixing them together can lead to respiratory failure. Don't do it!!

it can be dangerous if you don't already have a benzo tolerance, but if u have a high opiate and benzo tolerance, you should be fine, im not a doctor, just personal experience

It is not recommended to take Ativan (lorazepam) with Suboxone without consulting a doctor first. The combined effect of someone not tolerant to these drugs may cause death.
