Combining benadryl with excedrin under the recommended dose is not in and of itself harmful. Exceeding the recommended dose can be harmful and produce increased side effects. Always check with your Dr. before using more than the recommended dose.
You take Relpax at the very onset of a migraine. If that does not work in a couple of hours, yes you could take some Excedrin.
Yes, you can take Excedrin Migraine and Imitrex within 12 hours. You can even take them at the same time. Excedrin Migraine contains acetaminophen (Tylenol), aspirin, and caffeine. All of these are safe to take with Imitrex - which is a triptan medication and works by a different mechanism than the medicines in Excedrin Migraine.
Yes, you can take Lorazepam with Excedrin PM. Lorazepam is an anti-anxiety medication. Excedrin PM contains acetaminophen (Tylenol) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl). Both are safe to take with Lorazepam.
Yes, you can take methadone and Excedrin Migraine together. Methadone is a synthetic opiate medication used to treat pain and also combat the withdrawal symptoms of heroin. It is used to treat heroin withdrawal because it puts an opiate in the system of the patient, but does not provide the euphoric rush that heroin does. Excedrin Migraine contains acetaminophen (Tylenol), aspirin (an NSAID), and caffeine. None of the ingredients in Excedrin Migraine should interfere with methadone use.
It's generally not recommended to take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Excedrin together without consulting a healthcare professional. Benadryl is an antihistamine that can cause drowsiness, while Excedrin contains acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine, which can have stimulating effects. Combining them may increase the risk of side effects or interfere with their effectiveness. Always consult with a doctor or pharmacist before mixing medications.

Taking Elavil (amitriptyline) and Excedrin Migraine together can be risky, as both medications can increase the potential for side effects, particularly drowsiness and dizziness. Additionally, Excedrin contains caffeine, which may counteract some sedative effects of Elavil. It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before combining these medications to ensure safety and proper management of symptoms.
Type your answer here... can you take excedrin migraine with klonopin
Yes. Excedrin Extra Strength and Excedrin Migraine contain acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine. None of these would trigger a codeine allergy.
Only if you stay within the recommended dosage. They both contain diphenhydramine. Excedrin PM you can not exceed 2 per night(or in a day) and if you were to take benadryl with it you would be exceeding the recommended dosage. If you took 1 of each in a day you would be OK. I was taking 2 Excedrin PM per day along with 2-3 Benadryl and my eyes became extremely dry and it was hard getting through the day. Once medications stopped eyes slowly started to get better. This is only a minor complication though. There are serious side effects if the dosage is not followe.
