It is generally not recommended to take Claritin (loratadine) soon after taking Stahist, as both medications are antihistamines and can increase the risk of side effects like drowsiness or dry mouth. It's best to consult with a healthcare professional or a pharmacist to determine the appropriate timing and whether combining these medications is safe for your specific situation. Always follow the dosing instructions provided on the medication packaging or by your doctor.
It's generally not recommended to take Zyrtec (cetirizine) and Claritin (loratadine) together, as both are antihistamines used to treat allergy symptoms. Taking them too closely together may increase the risk of side effects, such as drowsiness. If you're considering taking both, it's best to consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
It's not recommended per the packaging because the medicine itself can make you drowsy. ------------------------------------------------------- For the record, to anyone looking this up...I drank with this stuff and got SUPER sick. I'm quite the drinker and I can certainly hold my booze. I WAS drinking fast for the night, so I was also drunk...but most of it was from the combination. I've drank enough in my life to know. About 2 hours in I got the spins so bad I couldn't open my eyes. I went outside for some fresh air and spent the next hour or so throwing up behind a bowling alley sleeping on the ground because I was too dizzy to move. So, no. Don't drink with it. I'm not the only one this has happened to, I've looked around the internet and its a common reaction.
Claritin (loratadine) typically starts to take effect within 1 to 3 hours after ingestion. Its peak effectiveness is usually reached around 8 to 12 hours after taking the medication. For most people, relief from allergy symptoms can last up to 24 hours, which is why it is often taken once daily. Individual responses may vary, so some may feel effects sooner or later.
There are no KNOWN drug/drug interaction that are dangerous with Adderal and Claritin. HOWEVER; antihistamines (Claritin) may cause an INCREASE/DECREASE in the action of either drug. Consult the PRESCRIBING DOCTOR to get appropriate dosage times. More input: * If taking them both, I would take the Claritin at night since you should be taking the Adderall in the morning. If you wait 10 hours in between meds you should be fine (that is the time it takes so you do not have a concentrated effect of Adderall in your system, based on 20-30 mg).
While there is no direct interaction between Dimetapp and Claritin, it's important to consider the active ingredients in each. Claritin (loratadine) is an antihistamine, and Dimetapp may contain additional antihistamines and decongestants. It’s advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before taking them together or within a short time frame to avoid potential side effects or excessive sedation. Always follow dosing guidelines and recommendations from your healthcare provider.
In my opinion Claritin is the best seasonal allergy medication. It is non-drowsy, and last for 24 hours. Claritin covers all allergy problems from sneezing to watery eyes. Claritin truly is an amazing medicine.
you can take Tylenol and advil....when my son was running a high fever..dr.told me to alternate the 2 every 2 hrs instead of just taking Tylenol every 4 hours
It's generally recommended to wait at least 24 hours between taking Allegra (fexofenadine) and Claritin (loratadine) since both are antihistamines and can cause similar side effects. However, if you're considering switching between them, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice based on your specific situation. Always follow the dosing instructions provided on the medication packaging or by your doctor.
There are 2 kinds, one is made last for 12 hours, the other is for 24 hour relief. It should specify which one it is on the front of the box in a small circle next to the name of the medicine.
This depends on your particular situation. Your age, size, and general health affects this answer. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining these drugs. Chances are it won't hurt you, but you could feel a bit of a sped-up feeling. Again, check with a doctor or pharmacist (many pharmacies are open 24 hours).
I have no idea what is in clarirtinD, but i take a great deal of opiates. i just took two (2) M357 hydrocodones and one (1) ClaritinD. Im not prescribed either of them, I just like to get high and Claritin cleans out my sinuses regardless of my allergies atm. So yeah, I'm not dead. They were weak Hydrocodones though. 500/5's (500mg acetaminophen/5 mg of hyrdocodone) I also took a Benodryl, whatever use that may be of you. The only real immediate risk I could see is acetaminophen overdose (roughly 4000mg) if Claritin even contains acetaminophen. Unfortunately I am not a medical professional, so if you're taking anything other than what i just described (or you have different preexisting medical conditions) then I cannot guarantee your safety.
Combining Claritin (loratadine) and ibuprofen is generally considered safe, as they work in different ways and do not have significant interactions. Claritin is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms, while ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for pain and inflammation. You can take them together, but it's advisable to space them out by a few hours for optimal effectiveness. Always consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice.
