You should not drink alcohol when you are sick. Alcohol is a depressant, and it slows down your body's responses. You need all your energy to fight off this cold or flu, and you don't need to use up energy trying to come out of an alcohol stupor!
In addition, Dayquil contains acetaminophen. This drug is known to cause liver damage. Alcohol also causes liver damages. Doctors recommend that you never use alcohol and acetaminophen together.

Yes, you can take Tamiflu and Dayquil together. If you have any questions about mixing medication, you should always ask for your doctor's advice.
Well yes you can take benydrl and dayquil as long as you have the systoms for it that it cures and as long as you dont take too many and also as long as you are old enough. Thanks, Christina
No you'll die immediately.
Nope. You're taking two different pain relievers in the Motrin and the DayQuil and two different allergy medicines in Zyrtec and DayQuil. If you have a cold, take DayQuil by itself. If you have allergies and pain, take Zyrtec and Motrin.
It all depends on the main ingredient in the Sudafed you are purchasing. The regular Sudafed which contains pseudoephdrine is safe to take with Dayquil. The Sudafed PE, which is now being sold can not be taken with Dayquil since Dayquil contains the same decongestant, phenylephrine as Sudafed PE.
