It might work for you, but I would certainly ask my doctor first. I will share with you my experience when taking these two drugs together to better help you determine if this is a good idea. I took only one Tylenol PM tablet when I was taking Cymbalta, and soon after I experienced extreme body jerking. It got so bad, I had to lay on the bed and hold my legs into my chest tightly. I couldn't even eat without throwing food everywhere, and my husband finally had to feed me. While I was sitting on the edge of the bed, my husband turned his back for a second. My entire body jerked onto the floor. I must have hit the back of my neck because there is a knot there now that won't go away. I might need to go to a chiropractor to fix this. I was unconscious and my body was jerking wildly. My husband said I changed colors then my body stiffened. After that, my husband thought I had died for sure. All the time this was happening he was talking to emergency, so they were on the way. He said I finally took a deep breath and started breathing normally again. He also said I threw up on the police officer who was in our room :P (Sorry officer). Since then, I have been experiencing terrible headaches all day everyday. I cringe at the thought of ever taking Tylenol PM again, and I have stopped taking Cymbalta. Still detoxing but I am almost there. Good luck to you, and I hope you find the way that is right for you.
If you can not find out from your doctor, then talk to your pharmacist.
