AnswerZoloft is an anti-depressant that is most commonly instructed to be taken in the morning. One of the most common side effects Zoloft has on people is insomnia. If you are using Nyquil to just help you get to sleep, I would recommend that be stopped, due to the alcohol present in Nyquil. There are a variety of sleeping pills your physician may prescribe you to help you sleep that will not interact in a negative way with the Zoloft.

To add to this statement, DO NOT take Codine, Nyquil and Zoloft, I had a horrible cough and took these together and had a MAJOR panic attack, brain spasms, one minute I could see fine the next blurred vision...DO NOT mix these drugs....Ask your doctor for a different choice for Cold Medicine. I also had no equilibrium, I was walking like a drunk....and totally out of it!!!! Took me hours to feel somewhat normal!!!
