yep... using nanofibres... researchers had found that wound will be healed if there is no infection on it. i.e., pathogens infects the wound and does not let to heal. They found that gram negative organisms are pathogens which is reason for infections. So, they made the bandage with nanofibres which carries positive charges which will attract the gram negative organisms which carries negative charges on their surface, and protect the wound from the gram negative organisms. This will lead to healing.

How do you treat an infected wound on a horse?

With respect. A horse is a thousand-pound creature that will still follow it's instincts if necessisary. It could easily hurt you. Of course, it doesn't. Horses are amazing creatures. You should feed them in a dish or feed bucket and not by hand because if you keep feeding them treats by hand they might think that you have a treat when you don't and bite you. The horse doesn't mean to bite you, they just think yuou have a treat.

How do you treat an abscess that has erupted on your cattle?

Depending on where and how large the abscess is, you can normally treat it with some warm water and iodine. Use a sponge to clean the wound, you should do this everyday. If the animal is not other wise sick or the wound is not infected than this alone should be ok. If the wound is infected, penicillin should be administered, if you are unaware about administration, your best bet is to call your veterinarian.

Is it ok to treat a wound with salt on a cat?

No, this is not ideal at all. Cooled boiled water with salt can help at keeping infection at bay for a short time, but in no way is it a ideal treatment. Any wound found on a pet should be looked at by a vet, as open wounds can very easily become infected. A vet will be able to administer antibiotics and other treatment if needed.

How do you treat a ring-tailed lemur bite?

Wash the wound out carefully with soap and water. Turn the warm water on your faucet on high and let the water run over it for 5 minutes to flush out the wound. Then go to the hospital. Lemur teeth are sharp and act like syringes, so bacteria can make their way deep into your tissue. Wounds can easily become infected, and lemurs may carry diseases. The doctor will likely put you on antibiotics, and if you develop an infection in your circulatory system (indicated by a red line running from the wound towards your heart), immediately go to the emergency room, and they will put you on IV antibiotics. Be sure you finish all of your antibiotics.
