Yes, it is possible. But it does not occur in everyone. Some people cry, are violent, etc. It can be any emotion though, depending on whatever. (For me, personally, it was uncontrollable sobbing after wisdom teeth surgery with local anaesthesia.)

I went under general anesthesia 5 days ago in order to have my gall bladder removed. I'm a 23 year old male and in good health. That or the Percocet I was prescibed for the post-operative pain. After researching on the internet, it seems that at least a few men and women experience these sort of emotional side effects after going under GA.
