well alot of people think that you cannot have a period but the answer is somewhat difficult. there is a chance that you will blled mistaking it as a period but it is not. no No. If bleeding when pregnant, check with your doctor.

What should you see with a 12 week miscarriage?
During a miscarriage at the 12 week point you can see large clots (that look much like raw liver) and you can also see the baby's body. The baby will look somewhat grey (hence the term grey matter). You should bleed for a few days. At first the bleeding and cramping might be severe but if there are no complications and the miscarriage is a complete miscarriage the symptoms will lessen.

Yes and no. When I was pregnant I experienced some discharge. This is just caused by your body collecting stuff for your mucas plug. It is normal. Now the cramping is somewhat normal. Depending upon how severe the cramps are and if you are having any bleeding, you might want to talk to your OB. There is a medical term for some of those craps and it is called braxton hicks. The cramps are similar to the cramps you have when you go into labor. You are probably not in laor but it would be wise to tell your OB that you are havign these cramps. Do not hide anything from them.
I have been having somewhat painful cramping for about 2 weeks and started bleeding during intercourse but didnt start my period till a week later could this be a miscarriage or something else?
I would say that its probably something else. With a miscarriage you'll start to feel ill, or have period like symptoms with some spotting (meaning pink-ish, red, or brown vaginal discharge). This will continue for a day or two before the real bleeding starts (usually heavy like a period, sometimes worse, and usually accompanied by heavy cramping). The process of miscarrying (meaning actually bleeding and possibly passing tissue and/or clots) usually takes about 2 weeks. If you started your period a week later, its highly unlikely that you had a miscarriage. Losing a pregnancy will reset your menstrual cycle, meaning that you wouldn't have a period for 4-6 weeks after miscarrying. Painful intercourse accompanied by bleeding could, however, mean that you have a vaginal infection or an allergy to your lube or condoms. If you're still experiencing painful intercourse or bleeding, please seek medical attention.
Could you be pregnant if your last period was 2 days long and it was brown spotting and then you took a pregnancy test and it was positive and then you got your period one day late?
Yes you can. Go to your doctors, Brown spotting is therefore known as ' Implantation bleeding' Where the egg implants in the womb, Which sheds tissue, Which is produced as brown discharge/Small amount of blood. & It is a possibilty you can still be having regular bleeding throughout pregnancy. How heavy is breakthrough bleeding in pregnancy?
It's similar to a menstrual period...perhaps somewhat lighter, and shorter in duration than menses. It can happen around the times when your period would be do, were you not pregnant--so it can occur at weeks 4, 8, and 12. Usually it resolves by week 12. I'm going through this myself!! I had a small bleed at 4 weeks, then a more pronounced one at 8 weeks...I thought I was going to lose the baby...but it turned out to be breakthrough, or decidual bleeding, and it's no problem for mom or baby. Just annoying.
How do you know when you are first about to come on your period?
It really depends on your body chemistry. You feel sluggish and unusually tired. Also your lower back starts to hurt and you may get some cramping in your abdominal area. And your breasts may feel somewhat tender. Hope this helps
