In some people, Neurontin (gabapentin) CAN cause a high similar to that of Ecstacy (i.e. Feelings of intense euphoria, relaxation and open-ness to other people, a "buzzing" energy, and increased perception/enjoyment of touch, smell, and music.) However, I would most definitely recommend that you thoroughly research any drug before taking it, and DO NOT DRIVE when taking a substance you are unfamiliar with. Hope this helps!

Because MDMA (Ecstasy) causes a flood of serotonin in your brain. Serotonin is the chemical that creates a sense of well-being and balances your mood. Ecstasy causes all the serotonin in your brain to be released at once. That is why people often feel depressed and unhappy for a day or so after taking Ecstasy. All of the serotonin in their brain has been depleted, and it takes awhile for your brain to replace it.

So, there is a comedown, or crash, after taking Ecstasy, but it is not nearly as bad as the comedown you get from other drugs, like speed and especially cocaine.
Most people administer ecstasy, or MDMA, by taking it in pill form, which is the most common method. It can also be crushed and snorted, or sometimes dissolved in water and consumed as a drink. Some users may also choose to use it in a capsule form. Regardless of the method, the effects typically include heightened emotions, increased energy, and a sense of connection with others.

They tell your brain to release more serotonin (which makes you happy) than usual. Giving the user a sense of 'ecstasy'
Ecstasy can effect many things. The side effects vary from person to person and also the amount of which you use the drug. Ecstasy can effect all of your senses (sight, hearing, tasting, feeling, smelling etc.) Although it is not common to have your taste buds affected by the drug, it is extremely possible. I would say vision would be the sense that is most affected by the drug, but then again, this drug contains different unknown chemicals and each pill and can be harmful to every aspect of your body and senses.
Before this question is answered a distinction must be made between ecstasy and ecstasy pills. Ecstasy is one of the many street names for the chemical MDMA (3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) where as ecstasy pills are tablets which are claimed to contain MDMA but may in fact contain any number of chemicals. MDMA is NOT physically addictive. It is not addictive in the way that drugs such as alcohol, nicotine and heroine are addictive. Having said this, it has been considered to be mentally addictive for some people. Ecstasy pills may contain any number of chemicals that are not MDMA and some of these may be addictive. The two most common addictive drugs that are found in ecstasy tablets are caffeine and amphetamines. Contrary to popular belief, Heroin and other opiates are rarely found in tables sold as ecstasy. In tests preformed by the EcstasyData.org, less then 0.1% of tablets tested contained any opiates. In summary, MDMA (ecstasy) is NOT addictive. Ecstasy pills occasionally contain other drugs that are not MDMA and that may be addictive. The dose and method of consumption (oral) of ecstasy tablets do not often lead to physical addiction to these chemicals.
Ecstasy is a is an entactogenic drug of thephenethylamine and amphetamine class of drugs. It can induce euphoria, a sense of intimacy with others, and diminished anxiety and depression. It can contain other psychoactive substances, commonly amphetamine (speed). LSD (acid) has been found on occasions in a small number of pills. 2-CB has appeared in 'ecstasy' but is more often sold under its own name. Caffeine is frequently found in fake ecstasy. It costs about 25 to 50 cents to manufacture and about $20-$40 to buy it off the street.
Light blue ecstasy, often referring to a specific type or color of MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy), typically produces effects such as increased energy, enhanced mood, emotional warmth, and a sense of connection with others. Users may also experience heightened sensory perception and euphoria. However, the effects can vary based on the dosage, individual physiology, and potential adulterants in the substance. It's important to note that the use of ecstasy carries risks, including dehydration, anxiety, and potential neurotoxicity.

Ecstasy is a dangerous recreational drug. Ecstasy acts as a stimulant and produces an enhanced self-confidence, increased energy, and psychedelic experiences. The side effects include cardiovascular failure and brain damage.~People use it for many purposes depending on the individual. An example would be as a recreational drug @ parties or raves, but this is only ONE example. It generally causes a heightened sense of well being, enhances physical pleasure and helps almost anything seem pleasant - hence the name ecstasy. It is also used in therapeutic settings to help clients get "over" or "through" intense psychological traumas in a controlled, guided format. It is also used individually for similar purposes or to attempt to bring on or enhance a kind of "religious" experience and there are many other possibilities as to why it would be used.
