5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is a supplement often used to boost serotonin levels and improve mood. There is limited research on the interaction between 5-HTP and Depo-Provera, a contraceptive injection. Generally, 5-HTP is not known to significantly affect the efficacy of Depo-Provera, but it’s always advisable to consult a healthcare provider before combining supplements with medications to ensure safety and effectiveness.

No
Depoprovera will not make you pregnant for months.
That is one of the advantages of this drug.
Can you mix prednisone with 5htp
should be ok, but ativan is a depressant tranquilliser so why would you need to take 5htp which is an atidepressant.?? There is a risk of doubling sedation in some and in others the 5htp will counteract the sedative of the ativan. I doubt either is what you want. I dont think its dangerous but just unnecesary. iF YOU ARE JUST TREATING ANXIETY Since they are both short acting, you should take the 5htp in the morning and the ativan at bedtime.
can we take ginkgo and 5htp together
There is no estrogen in Depo Provera. It contains only progestin. The 3-month shot contains 150 mg of depot-medroxyprogesterone.
Yes, 5-HTP can generally be taken with antihistamines, but it's important to consult a healthcare provider first. While there are no known direct interactions, both substances can affect serotonin levels and sedation. Individual reactions may vary, so a healthcare professional can provide personalized advice based on your specific circumstances and medications.
This is something you will want to ask your doctor about to make sure there are no drug interactions that may cause your birth control to fail.
