My experience as a sufferer for 17 years is that morphine sulphate (20 mgs. a day) can help to reduce the cough. I have also found that I slept better on morphine. After taking it for 18 months I recently came off it. Two weeks later, my cough is worse and I've woken up in the middle of every night and started to cough. So today, I'm going back to the doctor to ask for another prescription. I've read extensively about the possible side-effects etc. online, but as far as I'm concerned, any small risk is worth it for the improved quality of life that the morphine will bring. If you're interested, I have a blog about persistent coughs which can be found here: http://coughup.blogspot.com
Oxycontin is a synthetic manufactured MS. I have taken both for a condition I have. I will say I stay in reality much more with the MS. The oxy changed my personality, I am told not to the best. I think the pain relief is about the same. Tolerance is always a problem. The best thing is to STOP, I truly believe now that I have my pain is no worse. Now if you are taking them for other reasons than pain, then well....
How the heck should I know? Stop asking me. Gosh! You're such an idiot!
no
the herbs of warrior cats that help stop green cough and stop green cough are: Cat mint: best known cure for green cough. May not stop green cough but helps. Helps stop white cough, witch leads to green cough. Chick Weed: can be used to cure cough. SPOILER!!!! when the need ran out of cat mint Bluestar caught green cough and she had to use chick weed. Also helps cure BLACK COUGH!?!?!?
Absolutely
Your prescribed morphine and do not take it?But smoke weed? You are ruining and causing real pain victims issues.I would rather stop smoking weed, then suffer in chronic pain.Nuff said.No wonder the dea is cracking down
Common causes of cough include infections (eg colds and flu), asthma, smoking and acid reflux. Since coughing causes irritation to the airways, which can itself cause coughing, a dry cough can persist even when its original cause has gone. There is little evidence that cough suppressant medications are any more effective than placebo, but if you find that taking a medicine helps, you can buy them from a pharmacist. Other self-care measures include steam inhalation (from a bowl or from hot drinks), and sucking sweets. If you have a dry cough (ie one that is not bringing up mucus), you should try to resist the urge to cough, to help stop the cycle of cough-irritation-cough.
The two aren't normally combined if you are performing a chemical reaction of morphine to get heroin then you would either have morphine or heroin if your actually taking morphine and mixing it with heroin then stop doing that if you don't want them mixed together.
Yes, you can take Excedrin Migraine with morphine. Excedrin Migraine contains acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine. All of these will not interfere with morphine - none of them are CNS depressants, which is the usual concern for mixing medications with morphine, as mixing too many depressants with morphine can slow or stop your breathing.
yes it is. but it will not give u the same feeling as Oxycontin... I myself like the feeling of Oxycontin more than morphine. And the morphine really doesnt help with my pain at all. <3 Tabby <3 There are also a few things that should be noted with morphine, that often doctors are not even aware of. Morphine should NEVER be used for a patient experiencing acute or chronic pancreatitis. I learned this the hard way, as I was begging them to stop giving it to me, as it felt as though it were an acid, burning my stomach. Later, through research on my own, I found out that it is not supposed to be used on patients experiencing that illness. I have also found, through personal experience and that of many others I know... morphine makes me very sick. I start vomiting almost immediately, and the jerking and spasms from the vomiting makes me hurt worse, defeating the purpose! It doesn't make sense, but they can give you morphine more often than they are allowed to give nausea injections in the hospital. I have found Oxycontin, oxycodone, and the other meds in this family to be much less likely to cause the nausea and vomiting.
It is better to live on the hill in Valley Woods, because only people that are poor (that the government knows about) live down among the lake along the flood plain. It would be very foolish to establish ones residence here, but that does not stop some ignoramus' from doing so, *cough**cough**cough*Michael Banfield*cough**cough**cough**cough**cough**cough**cough**cough**cough**cough**cough**cough*
You can but it will do nothing to stop the cough
