No it does not, but I used to prefer Opana to heroin. Opana produces much more of a crisp, clear headed high. You feel clean. Heroin tends to give you a 'cloudy minded' high. Plus you know exactly what you are putting into your body with Opana.
(original) No, the active ingredient in Opana is Oxymorphone, a semi-synthetic opiod agonist which, like Heroin and all other drugs in the Opiate family is converted to Morphine by the body once ingested. The potency of Oxymorphone used intravenously however, is very comparable to Heroin.
LOL no!! Suboxone or Methadone are the best bets.
do you have rehab for opana addition
Opana is an opiate
no, Opana is time release OXYMORPHONE but, it is very similar to morphine.
Opana, or also known as Oxymorphone is a narcotic analgesic. Opana is a Schedule II controlled substance that is used to treat moderate to severe pain.
no opana is oxymorphhone, or oxy-morphine
no. opana=Oxymorphone... Methadone=Methadone. Lol
If you are prescribed opana, you will be told how to inject it by your physician or pharmacist. It should only be taken as prescribed.
The standard -4- panel drug test will scan for "opiates". Yes, Opana will be recognized. Opana is a semi-synthetic narcotic(oxymorphone HCL). It will show positive just like Morphine, Dilaudid, Heroin, codeine and lortab(Vicodin).
20 mg of Opana ER
Opana is it's own drug called (oxymorphone) which is a mix of percocet and morphine
Opana is a sustained-release form of hydromorphone, which is a more powerful adjunct of morphine. Because Opana is in a time-release formulation, ostensibly you can't abuse it the way you can with other forms of hydromorphone, most notably dilaudid. It is VERY important that you understand hydromorphone is, again, MANY times stronger than morphine, which itself is many times stronger than street heroin. Also, there is no other active ingredient other than the narcotic itself in Opana. This is unlike Percocet, which in addition to the narcotic Oxycodone, also contains acetaminohpen. Oxycodone, while a strong narcotic for most people, is still not nearly as strong as hydromorphone. This is NOT to say that one can get away with being careless with Percocet, because you certainly cannot. However, I outline the difference between the two narcotics because, even though there are serious risks in abusing either medication, abusing any form of hydromorphone does, in my opinion, carry an even greater risk than that posed by abusing Percocet. But keep in mind, abusing either drug is a very dangerous proposition, indeed. THIS ANSWER IS FOR THE MOST PART CORRECT, BUT--- OPANA's generic name is: oxymorphone HCL also know as NUMORPHAN. hydromorphone is commonly brand name DILAUDID. And yes Percocet/Percodan is: oxycodone...... Just to clarify.... Thank you.....
Yes
