Corps members must not possess or use any illegal drugs while participating in Teach For America, and must not consume or be under the influence of Alcoholic Beverages during the performance of service activities for Teach For America. If it is determined that you possess, have possessed, or have used illegal drugs during your two-year commitment and/or were under the influence of alcoholic beverages during service activities, you will be subject to dismissal from Teach For America. A corps member who is convicted of a drug offense during his/her two-year commitment must notify his/her regional manager, teacher leadership and development or, if occurring during the summer institute, the senior managing director of institute immediately."
