Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) is a medication used to stimulate the production of white blood cells, particularly neutrophils, to help reduce the risk of infection in patients undergoing chemotherapy or with certain bone marrow disorders. Common side effects include bone pain, fatigue, headache, and injection site reactions. Less frequently, it can cause splenic rupture or allergic reactions. Patients are monitored for these effects, especially during and after treatment.
Transfer Factor Plus is considered to be safe but there are some side effects however. These side effects include fever and also swelling and pain from the injected site. There is also concern about people catching Bovine spongiform encephalopathy.
