Stand in the lake on a windy day !
Yes you can just make sure the heat of the stove doesn't exceed the maximum heat allowed of the spray paint.
No, I have not used luggage protector spray to safeguard my belongings during travel.
Using protector spray on your belongings can provide benefits such as waterproofing, stain resistance, and prolonging the lifespan of the item by protecting it from damage and wear.
It all depends on what consistancy you would prefer. My all time favorite heat protector is paul mitchell super skinny. I also like redken real control spray that you can find at haircuttery or other salons that carry redken. If you are set on having a spray heat protector I like to you use matrix sleek look but it can be somewhat drying. As long as you start close to the ends and only use a pea shaped amount you would be better off using paul mitchell super skinny. It is my favorite, it also cuts hair drying time in half.
Your hair will burn and make it one flappy piece trust me i learned the hard way. Your hair will get damaged over time, you won't see the damage straight away unless your hair is in seriously bad condition.
Heat shield.
If you use heat protector spray then it doesn't make it as bad. But it depends on how hot your straightener's are. Below 200 degrees would probably be ok but above would burn your hair. Get a regular haircut (6-8 weeks) and you should be fine.
