I took the AEPA Chemistry class in January 2012. I majored in Chemistry but that was 25 years ago. I pretty much had a 4.0 in school.
I studied for 2 months about 2 hours per day, every day. I had to reteach myself all the material. The best resource was Barron's SAT Chemistry study guide. While the SAT is only an hour long, the questions were very similar to the AEPA.
I found the test very difficult. The questions were very subtle and I really had to concentrate. The test was also very long taking 3.5 hours. It was at least as hard as the GMAT, which I have also taken although the GMAT is not a content test. It is more of an intelligence test. If anything it was harder than the GMAT. That said I did pass and the score indicator they gave said that I did well.
study
