You can't make a plant grow "faster" (or at least not as fast as you want it to). The best thing you can do is care for it and give it as much love and attention as you possibly can. This will make it grow HEALTHY which is your overall goal. I couldn't imagine it smoking right or tasting good if it grows up too quickly. You have to treat it like a pet. You wouldn't want you cute and cuddly puppy to grow up too fast, would you? You would want it to have time to get used to the world so that when it does grow up, it will know how to handle it. You're right but there are also chemicals you can use. Increasing co2 can greatly affect the growth speed.

seeds need a few things in order to germinate and sprout. moisture, heat, and darkness.

My favorite way to germinate pot seeds is to put a group of them on a wet paper towel, fold the paper towel a couple of times to ensure the seeds aren't going anywhere. Then, place them inside of a plastic bag and put them in a nice warm dark place. a dark water heater closet is good but a sock drawer or kitchen cabinet will do. seeds take anywhere from 1-10 days to sprout, some never do. once the first ones are open check every day on the rest as they with be soon to follow.

put mirical grow in it and then put it in a dark place upside down for about 2 or 3 weeks then transplant it in a bucket and then put a uv light on top of it and let it grow!
