Well It actually depends on How much cow bones your using. But if you using quite a few;
1: Lay some Aluminum tin foil in a big container.
2: Place bones in container however they must be non-overlapping.
3: Start to smoke the bones but with the lid a fraction opened resting on your hand.
4: Leave for about half and hour so the smoke can set in. Make sure when finished smoking that you close the lid and that there is smoke inside the container. Seal it and wait.
Now you may cook it how ever you like.
