Depends on if it is an extended release or standard and how much the dosage is and how many times a day you take it. There isn't a type of tolerance because it is a form of methamphetamine and people may become addicted and your body becomes physically dependent as well. If you abruptly stop taking this type of pill or take too much you can feel very ill depending on the way your body initially reacts while taking it in the first place. This medication stimulates your entire nervous system.
The answer is definitely "yes." Your brain actually develops a tolerance to Adderall by creating more receptors. Once you develop a tolerance, the Adderall becomes less and less effective. You can overcome the tolerance temporarily by increasing the dose but, in time, your brain will also develop a tolerance to the new dose.
No
That depends on your tolerance & such. But probably at least 2 days.
depends on tolerance , and what your diet consist of that day
Yes. There are some drug effects for which people CANNOT develop tolerance. Of course there are other drug effects which commonly cause people to develop tolerance. If you have specific drugs and effects in mind, let me know.
Yes I am also I am sure there are a lot of others on that high dosage. It is unusual but some people have a fast metabolism and metabolize the pills fast, therefore build a tolerance and need higher doses. This is usually done gradually if an increase is needed.
It will heighten the tolerance pretty fast.
You can take adderall forever as long as you crush the pills up and inject them into a major artery. Adderall is not soluble in water so you must mix it with ethanol and heat it with an open flame until it dissolves completely. Swallowing the pills will just eat holes in your stomach and more than likely give you AIDS. If you plan on taking Adderall for an extended period of time, make sure you take at least twice what your doctor prescribes you so you do not develop a tolerance. Always consult the internet before you start an everyday Adderall regimen. Hope this helps.
While tolerance to the effects of LSD can develop, it is unlikely to cause dependence.
Someone's illness needs time to develop to the medication they are taking for that illness. example. One could develop a tolerance syndrome centered around alcohol addiction.
You can not become immune to it but your body WILL build up a tolerance As the above answer indicates, "immune" is not the right word for describing this. As stated above, your brain (as opposed to other systems in your body) will develop a tolerance to it. This means, even though you keep taking the same dose, the effectiveness of Adderall will decrease. Describing it as simply as I can, what actually happens is this. Adderall increases the level of two neurotransmitters in the brain--norephinephrine and dopamine. Neurotransmitters are the substances by which neurons communicate. They are released by one neuron and then attach to a receptor on a second neuron. Generally speaking, each neurotransmitter has its own receptor to which other substances will not attach. The tolerance to Adderall is caused because the brain actually keeps creating more dopamine and noepinephrine receptor sites on the second neuron. As more receptor sites are created, more dopamine and norephinephrine is needed to attach to those sites in order to produce the same effect as before.
This question isn't quite detailed enough for me to come up with a good answer, but if you're asking if people can build tolerance to adderall the answer is yes, very much so. Almost all prescribed people who take it regularly, AD/HD or not, build some tolerance to it. This isn't to say that everyone becomes addicted to it because addiction and tolerance are not the same thing. If you're careful in your tapering process and never use more than a doctor prescribed AND you're fully honest with your doctor, you'll probably build a slow tolerance but be able to avoid addiction.
