if it is 2mg then it will take 24 hours.

if it is 5mg then it takes 48 to 72 hours.

if it is 10 mg then it takes 5 days to leave.

While everyone will metabolize a certain drug in the same way, some people will metabolize it quicker than others. The amount of water intake would have some influence too. So it's impossible to give an exact answer. That being said, Valium has a VERY long half-life, meaning it is broken down by the body very slowly. I would say that a single 5mg dose of Valium would be detectable for AT LEAST 72 hours, and possibly up to an additional 24 hours. If the Valium use has been regular, it would probably be significantly longer, maybe up to a week.
