I had a allergic reaction to penicillin, i took 3 tablets of amoxicillin and the next day; my fingers swelled up and i had a rash. So about 12 to 24 hours, however, even if the drug that caused the allergic reaction has left your body, the rash and other symptoms can still stay.
if i was allergic to a medication ie: tetracycline will I always be allergic or is there a time frame arount when our bodies change (every 7 yrs)
As long as you do not appear to be having an allergic reaction to it, you are fine. If it gets red, swollen, or inflamed you will need to seek medical attention.
If the swelling is an allergic reaction to the medication you should imediately take an antihistamine like Benadril to counter-act the reaction. Do NOT take any more of the hydrocodone pills and consult your doctor as soon as possible.
a day up to 2 weeks
About three weeks.
That totally depends on the reason you have it.
Hi There, I have this problem too. Stopped taking the medication due to bad outbreak of hives - raised itchy bumps all over my back and tummy. They have reduced severity since cessation of the tablets. I'm still experiencing outbreaks though. When will it stop? How long does it take for the medication to leave your system?
Im not sure i never have but you might
When you feel well enough.
Yes. You can be mildly or moderately allergic to a medication you are taking and it can cause a chronic itchy rash. The rash will continue as long as you are taking that medication.
Not very long, I would say a day or two.
A terrible allergic reaction for bleach can last for days. If you are having too big of an issue, you should see medical attention.
