Nebido injections take only a minute to administer, however the effects of this new type of Testosterone Replacement Therapy takes much longer to take full effect.

The medicine is designed to last 6 months per injection, and the injections are usually administered roughly every 12 weeks. This means that the injections will overlap. This delivery method is designed to help maintain the optimum amount in the patients blood stream.

Nebido treatment also takes several injections *(usually 4) for the medicine to boost the patients blood serum levels to optimum amounts. So, if injections are administered every 12 weeks, it will take 4 x 12 weeks (48 weeks) for the patients blood serum to reach optimum levels.

Once the optimum level is reached, the testosterone level should stay fairly consistent at that level for the 12 weeks, although the period of intervals between injections may be adjusted for each patient.

The effects of Nebido are the same as other Testosterone Replacement Therapies.

Although, with Nebido, the patient may get more achne than with some other TRTs, this may be because the Nebido solution is fairly oily. Signs are the reduction of hypogonadal symptoms, such as: reduction of loss of libedo, reduction of cognitive impairment, reduction of irritability, reduction of loss of upper body muscle strength, reduction of tiredness, reduction of weight gain.

More hair may grow. Acne may appear on the chest area.

Other than that, a life saver.
