O MG I weaned myself after 20 months of being on Suboxne 10mg per the doc., which was way too long. Some docs just want the money, Suboxone I got myself don to 2mg per day after about a month of trying. On the third day i wanted to die. SWEATS, LEG CRAMPS, VOMTING, NO SLEEP. My body wanted to climb out of itself. Went to ER. They gave me zanex. Helps to be mellow but the pain is still there at day 4. I want to die. tHE ER doc said subox is harder to get off then vicodin. i was shocked! Miricle drug my butt!! I think the best thing to do is to wean off the opiate and skip the subox all together. I lost my job and insurance. The subox doc would not see me or even call in a few pills for me. He said it was his policy. I am going to call the med. board and pitch a fit. The ER doc said some of these docs want to keep you hooked as long as possible. This all started with a back and neck injury Doc had me on 8-10 a day for 2 years. I stopped because I was sick of pills. That landed me in the ER after the 3rd day. This little body of mine can't take much more of this. Please do not take suboxone. It is not a miracle drug but it is being thrown from the frying pan to the fire. This is my 4th day and I still want to die!!! I am calling whomever I can to stop this false cure. Please take care.

you didn't give enough info. at all, to properly answer said question. ..it all depends on your average milligram intake, how long you were on it for, etc etc. ..not to mention that every drug effects every individual differently. ..subutex+nalaxon=buprenorphine, aka Suboxone, has a half-life of 12hours (i believe), so it should last you around 24hours/1day. ..if you mean side effects after 1 use, id say 1 day minimum, 3-4 days MAXIMUM. ..if you were on them for a good amount of time, then you'd need to give more details of your daily/ex-daily intake/dosage, body weight, reason for prescription, etc etc.

Withdrawals will last around a week or 2 (people say 3 days, but like I said, everyone reacts differently). ..If you were addicted to them, i'd STRONGLY suggest "weening" down on them, compared to quitting "cold turkey". ..go from 1 8mil pill/strip, down to 4mils (half a pill or strip), then down to 2mils, etc etc, until you can (semi) comfortably stop them all in all. ..the best way after you get down to that very last milligram, is to occupy your mind/body with other hobbies/interests. ..I chose video-games and candle-making (something to do, that was available), as well as spending alot of time with my girlfriend. ..It helped, and im in MUCH better shape than in the past. ..hope this answer helped. ..if not, i AM sorry, but the details to your question were too vague to give a more precise answer.
