I have heard 5-8 days. I have been off for 2 days now and still itchy. Drink lots of water to flush it out! Good luck!
My husband stopped WB XL about 2 months ago and the itching still has not ceased. I don't have any solutions but I am looking. Answer: When I started taking it I got a rash all over. I put some antihistamine cream like benadryl on the red patches were itching the worst and waited it out. The cream really helped, the patches where still red for over a week but eventually went away. It was an initial reaction to the Wellbutrin and every so often i still get a rash here and there but a treatable rash is better than being horribly depressed so I'm still taking Wellbutrin. Just don't scratch, that usually starts the rash or really makes a small itchy red patch become a huge one.

How big is the rash? how long have you had it? is it from an allergic reaction or plants like poisin ivy and or poisin oak? Is it spreading or contained? what are you taking to rid yourself of this rash? this is all background info needed to determine how long it will take for the rash to subside. Yes. You can be mildly or moderately allergic to a medication you are taking and it can cause a chronic itchy rash. The rash will continue as long as you are taking that medication.
