Oxycontin contains 30mg of oxycodone, which is the active drug present. Oxycontin is time released, so the medicine is slowly released over an extended period of time.

Also, oxycodone usually isn't sold as just "oxycodone." You might be referring to the drug "roxicodone" which has 30mg of oxycodone in it, except this drug is instant release instead of continuous release.

The drug "Percocet" also contains oxycodone in it as well as acetaminophen (Tylenol)

However, I'm not sure if Oxycontin comes in 30mg. There are OC 10's, OC 20's, OC 40's, OC 80's, and there used to be OC 160's but i believe they discontinued those due to the increased likelihood of overdose
