i went from a size 8 to a size twelve in a year and a half and have therefore decided to go off it because of the sufficient weight gain, my boobs never changed size though. it seems all of the weight has gone to my stomach as im stick thin everywhere else. As well as weight gain i bloated alot too, especially of a morning and around night time, it is EVIL.
yes
Once every 3 months.
It is highly unlikely to get pregnant on the depo provera. And if you are worried because you have not had a period in two months that is normal for the depo shot. It is made to stop your period
your body is still adjusting to the hormones that are from the Depo shot. It takes 3 months minimum for all the hormones to leave your body just as it is when you are still on Depo and have to have another shot every three months. Give it another 2 - 6 months to go back to normal.
I was on depo, and I would always get my period 2 months on 2 months off. Until I didnt get my period no more.
spotting for over a month on the depo
3 months everytime no matter what !
There is not a medication that is specific to helping you get your period to back to what it was prior to beginning the depo shot. It can take more than 10 months for the body to return to normal.
After the last shot of Depo Provera, it can take over 6 months for the drug to leave the body. It doesn't seem to matter how many times the shot is taken the effect seems to be the same on how long it takes to get out of your body.
No. Call your doctor.
I've been on depo for a year 1/2..yes it is okay for you to stop having normal periods after starting the depo shot. although you might have cramping and spotting after three months when its time for your next shot.
