Taking anywhere above 13 would be considered an overdose, anywhere above 19 and you will most likely be hospitalized, and taking 24 or more pills will result in cardiac arrhythmia or cardiac arrest.
5$ but you can charge as much as you can get away with
my child is on 54mg of concerta XL and ao it dose not effect him in any diffent way.
54mg
i take one dose of 54mg a day.
Nope. No reason someone should be on that much unless they have narcolepsy. You won't die from it or anything but that is still probably too much.
Concerta (methylphenidate) has a half-life of about 3.5 hours, meaning it takes approximately this time for the body to eliminate half of the dose. It typically takes about 5 half-lives for a drug to be mostly cleared from the system, so Concerta 54mg would likely take around 18 to 30 hours to be eliminated completely. However, individual factors such as metabolism, age, and overall health can influence this timeframe.
its fineim 100lbs and i take 2 54mg sometimes even though im only supposed to take one
Nope, that's what I was prescribed originally... With a 10mg Ritalin "booster." Yes 54mg of Concerta is too much for the initial dose. Over 6 years the recommended initial dose is 18mg once daily in the morning, increased if necessary in weekly steps of 18mg according to response to a maximum dose of 54mg daily. So you have been prescribed the maximum daily dose starting off. Starting on a lower strength would be more advisable in my opinion. Pharmacist in training Reference from BNF 56 Sept 2008
I can't say really if it does dilate your eyes cause this morning my girl friend gave me one of her 54mg concerta, it was great, I was speeding all day at school. I got curious and went to the restroom to check and as it turned out no it didn't dilate my eyes
Yes, taking too much Concerta (methylphenidate) can be dangerous and potentially fatal. An overdose can lead to serious side effects, including rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, seizures, and even cardiac arrest. If someone is suspected of having taken an overdose, it's crucial to seek immediate medical attention. Always use medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Yes you could. I currently take 54 mg of concerta daily. But if it is not perscribed to you i do not suggest it. You can take up to 72mg a day.
