How strong is 5mg of oxycodone?

5mg is a very low dose. But it is strong, oxycodone is about 40-50% stronger than morphine, and is 8 times more easily absorbed than morphine. I currently take 30 mg and you have to be careful. It will make you sick.

no 5mg is made end of story Actually this is incorrect, there is a 5mg just not in the US its used in UK and Canada. Please research your answer or don't answer if you don't know its found quite easy on a Google search... Anyway 5mg Oxycontin is 5mg of oxycodone just in a time released form, Oxycodone is the main ingredient in Oxycontin which is basically just a time released version of the Oxycodone to make it easy. Supposedly it will release 5mg of oxycodone into your system over an 8-12 hour period.

The synthetic opiates are significantly stronger than the naturally occurring ones. Morphine and Codeine are natural. Oxycodone is synthetic.
