First of all, 6-15mg Morphine Instant Release tabs is way to much for 1 day. Try cutting the dosage in half first. 3-15mg Morphine tabs in one day. If the side effects are still to much, a better option would be Percocet.
I used to take vicodon i really didnt care for it as much as percocet. but, morphine- way better!!
The word "better" is very vague and patients can react very differently to medications. However, there are a number of advantages to selecting Dilaudid (AKA Hydromorphne) over Morphine. Both drugs have similar effects as hydrocodone and Oxyconde. Dilaudid is estimated to be 3-4 times stronger than Morphine therefore the amount of drug prescribed is usually significantly less. Dilaudid has a lower risk of dependency and typically causes less nausea than Morphine.
All have side effects ,usually get better after a couple of weeks as your body adjusts. Sexual side effects may not get better with time. That's one reason Wellbutrin is popular...doesn't have sexual side effects for most people
If your doctor has prescribed morphine for you tell them that you take Benadryl. USUALLY it is okay to combine them as Morphine can cause you to feel itchy. Both Benadryl and Morphine can cause drowsiness so caution should be used always when combining medication together. The maximum dose of Benadryl for an adult is 50 mg every 6 hours. It is difficult to answer this question as there are different kinds of Morphine, specifically MSIR which is short acting morphine and Extended Release or "ER Morphine (such as MS Contin) with is time released. DO NOT BREAK OR CHEW ER MORPHINE as it will "dump" it's entire amount into the body at one time instead of being given over a 8 to 12 hour period. (Avinza is a 24 hour morphine pill, extreme caution should be used when dealing with ER Morphine as it is available in generic and numerous difference brand names, the most common being Avinza, Kadian and MS Contin.) IF you have been taking morphine for a period of time, at least several months and are not sedated by it then you probably could take Benadryl and Morphine together. Better advice is "When in doubt call your doctor or your pharmacist!" Overdosing on medication is easier than one thinks, it is much better to be safe than sorry.
No, they are two different opiates, but in the brain when one has just took oxycodone/contin all opiates are transduced into morphine, so in other words the brain detects the opiate, but it doesn't see it as oxycodone, it see it as morphine. Morphine has better pain killing effects, and Oxycontin is the best recreational opiate available by far.
Yes! get a much better faster effect.
Depends on the type of surgery, the narcosis, the patient, and the postoperative medication. It can be hours, but might be days. Morphine and lookalikes tend to slow the digestive system down (though newer derivates should be better).
concerta does not realy have any side effects, but when i changed my medication i felt anxious for 2 days but alot better than my first medication RITALIN LA it made me fell sad and i had mood swings for 2 weeks. adhd is hard to live with i cant pay attention
Dilaudid (hydromorphone) and morphine are both opioids, but they have different potencies and how they interact with opioid receptors in the brain. Your body may metabolize and respond to hydromorphone more effectively than morphine, leading to better pain relief or fewer side effects. Individual variations in genetics, tolerance, and previous exposure to opioids can also influence how different medications work for you. Always consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice regarding pain management.
Good question! Actually, Morphine Sulphate was the drug of choice because it was assumed there was a strongly benefical hemodynamic effect, which, it turns out, has never been proven. Nowadays, better effects can be had with other meds, and MS is counterindicated for exactly the reason you state in your question. Please see link.
Both Dexedrine and Adderall are stimulant medications used to treat conditions like ADHD. They have similar effects but differ in their specific formulations and how they are metabolized in the body. Some individuals may respond better to one medication over the other, so it is important to consult with a healthcare provider to determine which medication is best for you.
Capsule name of morphine sulphate is "Magnus". It is narcotics. It is better to not to use morphine sulphate capsules. If you are advised to use the 10mg capsule, you can use 2 codogesic and 1 tramadol. It would be very helpful in decreasing your pain.
