If you drink a shot of tequila does it cure your sore throat or cold?

Does it really work? my throat hurts soo bad so i am going to ask my mom if she can make me some. Also when i talk my voice is scratchy does tea with honey help that too?

Honey is one of the purest forms of food and the only food that WILL NOT go bad. It can be stores forever. Honey has many good uses for overall health and a person should use honey in their tea or coffee or over cereal of on a sandwhich. There are several methods that work: * Hot tea (no cream) mixed with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice (drink as hot as you can stand it.) If you don't have lemon juice just skip, but the honey is the most important. * 1 - 2 ounces of Brandy, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 1/2 teaspoons of honey, mix with boiling water and sip. This does not cause dehydration in this small amount. * There are good remedies from your pharmacist to help soothe a sore throat. OTHER TIPS: * If you have a humidifier then use it! During winter months the air in one's home gets very dry dehydrating eyes, sinuses, and the throat as well as the skin. If you don't have a humidifier then put medium sized bowls of water around your home (particularly where you are) to humidify the air. You'll be surprised how often you need to add more water to the bowls in a course of a day. * Have a hot steamy bath or shower. Steam is good for a sore throat and stuff sinuses. * NEVER lay down when your throat is sore (can be caused by draining sinuses) or chest congestion and prop yourself up with pillows before you go to sleep. This helps the sinuses from draining down the throat or chest congestion to lay dormant in the lungs. A cold is caused by an adenovirus and is usually self-limited to about 2-3 days. It is not "cured." Sore throat can be treated using Chloraseptic spray or lozenges (NOT Cepacol).
