As long as you didn't go more than seven days without an active pill, you are not at increased risk of pregnancy. Skipping your period by taking the pill continuously decreases, not increases, the risk of pregnancy.
As soon as you get your period
If you are not having sex/unprotected sex, you can start your birth control whenever you want.
Preganant, or normal variation

When you have unprotected sex and then miss a period When you have unprotected sex and then miss a period
no...
Your period may become lighter or finish earlier. This is completely normal. You cannot have unprotected sex until you've been on birth control for 4 weeks. Until this time, use a condom.
No
yes you can
Your period could be delayed if you are sick. My concern is that some antibiotics effect the ability of birth control pills. Have you had unprotected sex lately?
you could not have a period due to stress, gaining weight too quickly, losing weight too quickly or you could be on the menopause if you are in your 40's its possible. or simply be preganant.
its around an 85% chance that you could be pregnant becasue birth control is only 81-99% effective. so check anyways.
