Is Effexor XR safe during pregnancy?

I don't know if it is dangerous, but i do know it is a very strong anti depressant. The doctor put me on this my junior year in high school and to this day (now 22) i remember exactly how it made me feel. I was more angry on it, i felt a constant fuzz feeling in my brain, and i felt like i was more out of control on it then i was before i got on it. After I got into an argument that i had started for no apparent reason i quit taking it that day and never returned to that doctor. I remember the urge to literally hurt somebody. I was shortly put on another medication that i can't remember the name but i had NONE of the effects that i did from effexor..

Effexor XR is a class C drug meaning that there have been no tests performed to know what will happen if a pregnant humans take it but there have been adverse side effects in pregnant lab animals.
