I'm not sure, but I took some Vicodin the other day and the edges of my tongue it are rather raw, and hurt a bit. When I look at it in the mirror there are some spots that are more fleshy then others. I've taken other brands of hydrocodone/acetaminophen combinations and haven't experienced this before. However I can't think of anything else I could have done to make my tongue this way. Possibly I bit it while I was sleeping, but didn't feel it because of the Vicodin?
Well You just got a new tongue peircing and its swollen, and the sides of your tongue are raw from rubbing off the side of your teeth. Also can be and allergic reaction to the metal or food/drug allergy also.
I doubt the Vicodin caused the tongue blisters but it could have triggered the virus that is the cause of tongue blisters (canker sores on the tongue). They can be treated at the dentist office or a general practitioner's office. There is a solution that will help with the pain and treatment of the sores. If you have a dentist just go there and they will probably see you without an appointment since it only takes a few minutes to give you the solution.
If your allergic reaction is so bad that oyur tongue swells, go to the ER. Take out your tongue bar. If your tongue keeps swelling it'll swallow the ball and cause more problems. Tongue piercings usually stay open without jewelery for a while.
he or she most likely burnt their tongue. rarely it could be an allergic reaction.
There are many things that can cause a swollen tongue such as an allergic reaction. Body parts swell up and sometimes interfere with your ability to breathe when you have an allergic reaction.
Seems that it works faster and stronger. That was my reaction when dissolving under the tongue.

A suddenly swollen tongue can be caused by an allergic reaction. A chronically swollen tongue -- in other words, the tongue becomes swollen over time and remains swollen -- can be an indication of hypothyroidism.
Yes you will have the same allergic reaction. "Lortab" is a brand name for Hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is the active ingrediant in Vicodin, lortab, lorcet, and all the other name brands for the medication.. You are most likely allergic to hydrocodone if you are having and allergic reaction to vicodin. Unless you have never takin Tylenol before. If so, then it may be the acetaminophen you are allergic to. Hope this helps. I am in pharmacy school and work as a pharmacy tech. So this question comes up often in the pharmacy. BE CAREFUL opiate allergies can have very severe reactions.
We call them raw materials. Raw materials are H2O and CO2.
it could have had an allergic reaction to something it ate.
