I have been wondering the same thing, and since I'm on it I can assure you after my experience today, I know it does. Most doctors say to take vyvanse right when you get up because it gives you energy, but that creates a lot of issues. If you're on vyvanse you need to wake up early between 6-7 (assuming you have a regular 9-5 job) and eat a little something for breakfast (not much and keep it light, so no pancakes) if you like coffee to wake up you may drink a cup of that as well but don't go over one cup during the morning coffe is a different type of stimulant than Vyvanse and they don't like each other. Take your vyvanse an hour or more after breakfast (if you take it too soon like say 15 mins after food, you will have the worst stomach cramps of your life, although you may not get diareah so it's even worse because the cramps don't come to a result they just continue for almost an hour. If you've done all of this these things will happen; youlll feel less anxiety, you'll be able to eat later without feeling nauseous and you won't get diariah (STAY AWAY FROM SPICY FOODS) Here is what I did today, I woke up late, took my meds before lunch, had spicy BBQ for lunch then went to the bathroom for almost 20 mins (diareah) and got terrible heart palpations. lesson learned, I had so much anxiety I smoked a cigarette (don't do that either it raises blood pressure and since vyvanse does too you're just asking to go to the ER)
There is no way to shoot up Vyvanse. Vyvanse is prescription which should only be taken as directed. Any other consumption of this drug can lead to side effects or health failure.
It is listed under the "rare" side effects of oral dosage Vyvanse, as a "less severe" side effect. I myself take a 60 mg Vyvanse daily, and experience dilated pupils if I had recently restarted taking my prescription after a few days without it.
It is important to consult with a healthcare provider before driving while taking Vyvanse, as it can affect your ability to drive safely.
