Read the ingredients for the Nyquil, if it does not include acetaminophen then you can take it alongside a normal dose of Tylenol for headaches, if it does have acetaminophen and doesn't relieve your headache try adding half the dose of the Tylenol first and see if that relieves your symptoms. Your in no danger if you take a full dose of both, but excessive amounts of acetaminophen can theoretically cause complications.
is it safe to take Nyquil with amitriptyline
Those two drugs would be safe together. Zantac is a stomach acid reducer called an H-2 Antagonist. Nyquil is a cold and cough medicine. Also, if you check the label, neither of them has the same thing listed as an ingredient.
I don't think i know the answer
Yes. It is safe in first trimester also. But then please do not take it for no reason.
They hopefully only use it for the approved uses on the label: for cough and cold symptoms. To use any over the counter medicine for uses or in ways not described on the label directions is a very dangerous practice and can cause serious health problems and sometimes even death. Talk to a Pharmacist when you purchase medications like Nyquil to be sure that it will be safe and effective for your needs. They can direct you to a more safe or more effective medicine for your symptoms if Nyquil, or whatever medicine you are purchasing, is not the best choice for that. There is some alcohol in Nyquil, and some alcoholics have been known to desperately drink cough medicines for the little bit of alcohol they contain. And, sadly, some have died from getting too much of the other ingredients in the medicine at the same time which can cause organ damage or other overdose complications. Always follow the label directions and do not listen to anyone other than a doctor who gives advice that is different from those directions.
Possibly make it extremely slow, *cough* *cough* Prius *cough* *cough* Smartcar. The smartcar isn't really safe but it's slow. Or you could make an extremely cushy interior I guess.
Make sure there is no alcohol in Nyquil!! No amount of alcohol is safe in pregnancy. Medications that are safe in the third trimester of pregnancy may not be safe in the first, so you should check with your doctor. Depending on your symptoms, you should be able to take something that will help you to feel better.
