Any damage to your eyesight depends on the light you have and the distance you are holding the book, not your position in bed. The reading as far as it is calming and not an upsetting subject, is what helps to fall asleep, not the position.
reading in the dark rubbing your eyes too hard .. :D reading and lying down while reading a book looking at the computer screen too long that all i get .. :)
Sleep, Slept, Sleeping
AnswerIf she explains too much, then it is a rehearsed answer. She is trying to convince you because she knows she is lying.Check body language! If she exerts energy in her upper body, this is definitely a sign. Also watch where her eyes go while she is speaking. Some well practiced liars can look directely into your eyes while they lie, but not too many are skilled at this. Otherwise, eyes down to the left or the right, a lie. Eyes level but looking to either side, still making up the story while telling the lie. Eyes straight down into her lap, not comfortable with lying but may be trying it anyway. Eyes looking right at you, honest or a practiced liar. If she's the latter, you will have had other clues.
no because its bad for your digestion and how can you eat when your eyes are closed and lying down.
One way, when you ask a question watch body language like the eyes. if eyes look down, it may be the person is lying
If you watch closely, it is the eyes that give away that a person is lying. When a person's eyes glance up to the right above their head, they are visualizing while they are trying to recall facts. If they, even slightly and quickly, glance down toward the ground to their left, then they are probably lying.
you can tell by the subject and if your yawning or your eyes are trying to get shut. but it can also be if you have your head down on your desk just lying there
It is generally not recommended for children to read lying down in bed, as it can strain their eyes and posture. It is better for children to read in a well-lit, upright position to avoid potential discomfort or adverse effects on their eyesight and physical development.
Down and to the Left: Indicates a Feeling / Kinesthetic / Sensory impression that is being created. If you asked someone to "Can you remember the taste of chocolate?", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while they recalled a smell, feeling, or taste of eating chocolate.__Down and To the Right:Indicates an Internal Dialog. This is the direction of someone's eyes as they "talk to themselves."

How do you know your pony doesn't sleep? Unless you're watching closely 24 hours a day, you might just miss him sleeping. I bet he does and you just haven't noticed. Horses usually sleep standing up. One of my horses fell asleep while the farrier was trimming his feet... his eyes closed, lip got loose and he was in zzzzz land. A horse also sleeps lying down but only if he feels safe and secure since lying down is a vulnerable position for a horse. I've read that horses only dream when they sleep lying down. If your pony doesn't have a herd, he may not feel lying down is safe.
Because they dont look in your eyes!
