Not only is it SAFE....But I would RECOMMEND it!!! most addicts alike(me included) develop such strong habits of eating junk food, sitting around not doing anything. That even when you get on methadone, you gotta change EVERYTHING, I still go to the clinic 3 years later and I've realized the majority that get off and relapsed don't change any habits, they continue to sit around and eat bad and just don't do anything. While I'm sure the methadone has SOME contribution to that, I really do believe it is mostly up to you. However, the question is; is it safe....It's not only safe, it's recommended; in my unprofessional but experienced opinion.
