You should always talk to your doctor first. I've had different opinions about the Chantix. Some people swear by it and then the others are totally against it( insomnia, nausea and chills just to name a few). I took Depakote for epilepsy for years then I became pregnant with my daughter in 2005 and had to switch to Gabapentin because Depakote harms the fetus. I did good through my pregnancy, but as soon as I had my daughter I started having seizures, and in one such case I had a seizure while I was holding my 3 month old daughter and dropped her. When I told my dr about all of this he said that epileptics usually don't have seizures during a pregnancy anyways because your body is so overloaded with hormones so it was like the meds I had been taking that whole time was just like a placebo or something.
