I would say Suave is better because it makes your hair stronger and shinier.
**edit**
Almost all shampoo formulas are the same, no matter how much you pay for it.
After all how much can you add to a product to make it different from the hundreds of other that are widely available?
Most of the "magic" ingredients are in such low concentrations, they will have little to no effect, so the only reason to buy an expensive one is if you love the smell. Chances are, a high street shampoo&conditioner will do the job, clean your hair, and look after it, for a third of the price.
There is nothing positive about this product according to the ingredient label. The Suave Professionals Shampoo does not meet any natural ingredient parameter.
Harmon or Face Values... Suave also makes a line called 'suave perfessionals sleek' which is basically a generic of the matrix one. You can find the suave at any drugstore or super market

Suave is....ok, but herbal essences is much better! Suave dries out your hair, cheap shampoos like that work like detergent.Herbal essences, depending on if you use the right one for your hair, makes your hair soft, stronger, and shiny. Suave is better for your wallet but herbal essences is better for your hair.
yes it does.
The pH level of Suave shampoo is typically around 5.5, which is slightly acidic. This pH level is close to the natural pH of the scalp, helping to maintain the balance of the skin and hair.
